this is my 1967.5 datsun roadster. it originally a 1600cc motor 4 speed trans and 3.71 rear axle ratio. i have pulled the body completly off to rebuild and upgrade. the car now has a 1.1 L mazda motor, 5 speed trans and 3.90 gear ratio. the car originally weighed 2200 pounds now it weighs 1600 pounds. it now has a tandem brake master cylinders with brake bias, 4 wheel disc brakes pinto front spindles and hub assembly. i widened the front track by 4 inches. i made tubular upper a-arms with moog racing ball joints. 8-gal fuel cell. optima battery relocated to the trunk. elec. fuel pump and fan. aluminum rad. custom made intake manifold with 4 34mm street bike carbs rejetted. custom made header and 2.25 exhaust w/blue streak muffler.

i have the motor in now had to make a cowl hood to clear the radiator.. still havent taken any new pics, but can out run a 300+hp mustang

AAAAH if you were going to change the engine you should have done an SR20 or SR20DET and at least kept it Nissan! Anyway, looks like you did alot of good work and spent the time to do it right. Can't wait to see the new pics!!
