Aaron Mercury didnt make a Cougar in 98.The seventh generation cougar came out in 99 and was based on the Ford Mondeo which was a smaller completely redesigned car.I had a 94 and when I found out that the 97 was the last big Cougar, I bought mine. I wish Mercury would do a reto cougar I'm sure it would be a hit.
