The first of the performance parts arrived and install has begun. I got in a cold air intake , stainless steel ceramic coated chrome headers and a speedhut 3 guage pillar pod.

BEFORE

AFTER

It was a tight fit getting the cai in on an automatic but it did fit. It sticks out the bottom about an inch and a half but I left the splashshield on the car leaving the back bolts out since it is crappy weather. I'm thinking once it gets nice out I'll cut the splash shield loose from the wheel well area so it is 2 pieces then I can add and remove it depending on the weather.

I was'nt sure weather to put the gauge pod under performance or cosmetic but since it monitors the performance, here it is.

9-14-08 In anticapation of my carbon fiber hood coming next week decided to get all my unfinished products done first. After 6 hours of dickin around got the pillar gauges all hooked up and working.

4-11-04 Oh yeah! New headers are looking sweet.

I'll get the old bitches out soon. Sure are being stubborn tho.

When my bear claw hands won't fit it's time to get the Mrs. dirty.

What a pain , I have recently decided I hate working on cars.
4-20-08 Headers are fully installed. There was a rounded over bolt head on the heatshield on the firewall side that held up any progress for a full day. I called around to every shop in the area to have them do that back side for me but all were too busy forcing me to tackle it myself since I can't have my car laid up. It was a bitch every step of the way and if you have the funds I highly recommend taking the idea of wanting to do everything yourself and throw it right out the window and pay a pro to cuss at it for a day.

Is this something that needs my imediate attention? I don't know how big of a deal a torn boot is.
