This project is in hold right now. I have alot of parts collected and I am still hunting some things. Steven Allens in Florida had some of the items, but I waited too long and they are now out of the business.

10/'08: I bought this in 1987 in Jackson, MS. It was driven maybe 2500 miles the first couple years. then it was stored inside ever since. I've got the econo nearly done and I'm developing an itch in my foot that can only be cured by holding it firmly against the floor of this car with the gas pedal located squarely underneath. I guess its time to get to it.

10/09: Wow a year. Well I got a lot done this summer. Just not on the Hawk! I did get back to it this last week though. I had a full dual exhaust system in 2" stainless waiting to go in. Don Simmons is a master! What a pleasure to work with those pipes. The fit was perfect. I'd heard about him through SDC members. He is a vendor of exhaust systems.

I also found a cool set of Cragar wheels. These are early wheels. Dated 1964 on the back. The have A.J. Foyt center caps. Interesting wheels. These are two piece wheels, but unlike the S/S Cragers, these have painted centers over natural aluminum. Never were chrome.
