No. You don't need a new driveshaft. All you need is the T56, which if your doing an lt1 swap has to be from an lt1, and if from an ls1 vice versa. Then the bellhousing, if lt1, the lt1 flywheel, lt1 cluch pedals, lt1 clutch and hydraulics. Then, the only other thing you need is a crossmember to bolt the lt1 or the ls1 t56 to the third gen body. The crossmember can be bought from Spohn or some other aftermarket dealer for about 100, to 125 dollars depending on where you go. That's all you need really. It's nothing complicated at all.

ahh, im considering a t-56 swap.. how much work was required to go from auto to manual like do you need a dif driveshaft? etc?

omfg, your camaro is bad ass & great deal on the TPI set up i absolutely love the way TPI looks thats why im keeping it when i build a new engine for my iroc-z 5 stars for sure bro & drop by my page sometime
