Well folks this is my 1996 Ford Ranger XLT Super Cab. i recieced it 2 summers ago to replace my first car which was a 1978 Plymouth Volare station wagon. The Ranger has the 2.3 liter inline-4 cylnder engine with the four-speed with overdrive manual transmission. When i first got the truck i put a lot of work into cleaning the interior, because the previous owner smoked inside of the truck A LOT! I had to replace the headliner, carpet, and recover the seats, ans anything else was washed down with several coats of degreaser, windex and Armor-all. Just below th A-pillar on the driver side was a large dent that had to be removed and repainted, but other than that and a few minor scratches the paint is very good. i dont plan on putting any money into suspension or engine upgrades so the truck is completley stock with the exception of the sound system. I have the same Pioneer head unit that was in my station wagon in the truck and have gone through several sets of speakers whil trying to find the ones that i like the best. As of now i have 4-way Pioneer 6x8's in the front doors, and 2-way Kicker 6's int the rear. For a sub i started with an 8-inch Kenwood, with Kenwood 250 watt max amp, but have recently upgraded to a 12-inch Q-Power sub and 300 watt Jensen amp.
UPDATE! 5-17-09. I Have now replaced the back pair of speakers with a set of Rockford-Fosgate Punch 5x7" 2-Ways, and have replaced my Q-Power subwoofer with a 12" Kicker Comp.
