



Classic French 1964 Citroen ID19 rethought as American hot rod with LS1 Corvette engine, Art Morrison chassis, new suspension, 18-inch performance tires and chrome wheels, and completely revised interior.

This Citroen hot rod is definitely a fun way to enjoy the best of both worlds and turn lots of heads at the same time. It has has appeared twice in Hot Rod Magazine with the magazine dubbing it a "Dare to be Different" hot rod in the March, 2007 issue.
The exterior looks the same as the classic French ID19 model (plus a few modifications), but it's engine, suspension and chassis have all been re-worked into a powerful and performance-driving American hot rod.
Distinguishing new features: 1) The new LS1 engine provides over 400+ horsepower compared to the original model's 88 horsepower, 2) The original suspension has been replaced with beefed-up independent suspension, to handle the added horsepower, 3) The original braking system has been replaced with all-around performance braking, 4) The original upholstery has been changed to firm, performance buckets, and 5) The original front wheel drive has been switched to rear wheel drive.
Specific details: Corvette LS1 engine, Art Morrison chassis, Mustang II geometry front suspension, modified four-link rear suspension (to handle added horsepower), Aldan shocks, Wilwood brake disks, custom Billet Specialties wheels, new A/C and heating, and exterior 457 Volvo 'Flash Green' and 'White Pearl' paint.
