I originally traded this car so I could get my little brother a car. The deal was to trade the motor and trans for lowest version motor and trans for the car. And for the downgrade this guy was going to give me a 85 Golf GTI. Well the guy changed his mind and said the only thing he would use the supra for is parts. And that he would want the whole thing for the GTI. I told him that the supra was more valuable than the GTI and that I would fix it up and keep it. All I had to do is replace the clutch plate and I have a running car. And he wanted it for parts. (Yeah F*CKING Right!)
So I just wanted to know if you guys think I did the right thing. So if you would let me know what you think thanks for taking a look at my Supra.
This is after I replaced the original drive lights with the fog lights I got from a friend of mine.
This is the new clutch plate next to the old one. If you know what your looking for you'd understand that the previous owner didn't diserve to have this car. The clutch and pressure plate were both shot and there is no way that he didn't feel the transmission slipping and not know it.
This is me putting the new transmission in. My wife was nice enough to get a snap shot when I was defenseless.
Thats my little brother helping me put the transmission in and man thats light compared to my 76 K10 Blazer transmission. And the transfer case weights about the same.
This is me next to my new toy. I just got the new rims for it. I'm keeping the stock set of rims so I still have all the original parts that came with it.
