My project truck. Lotta work ahead

As you can see. Its a 91' Regular Cab Long Box. 2wd with the v-6 2.8 TBI, and a 5 speed.
End results with a 350 Mildy built. 350 tranny. Yes. Automatic. With a B&M or Hurst floor shift. Ford 9" Rear end, chopped to tuck some Mickey T's under the truck and keep hooked up good.
Custom dash and center console. Some racing bucket Seats. Possibly a 4 cage. And a through cab to box subwoofer encloser.

Old 2.8.
Yeah, she was tired.
Nice little motor for everyday driving.
I want a weekend runner though.
350 Will fix that.

Unforntunately nothing off the front is salvagable. So Im gonna need new fenders, wheel wells, Radator Support, And new hood.
Debating whether to do a whole front fiberglass clip or stay with origanal.

no i am running a set of aftermarket guages from VDO guages . it has a electric speedo with it and it wires into the factory speedo plug in the trany.

the only thing i think you could do is get a aftermarket speedo. my trany has a electric speedo in it . you should be able to zip tie it right to the steering column for now until you can make up a new gage cluster with aftermarket guages.

I have a custom shaft from fleet pride. it depends on the set up though.when i first did a 350 swap in the truck i was able to use the stock shaft. The truck orignally was a regular cab short bed . and it was a 2.8 v6 with a 5 speed in it , when i put the v8 with the 700r4 in it all i had to do was modify the trany mount a little but the driveshaft worked. but if you do have to have a shaft made up make shure you doubble check your measurments, the first one i had made up was 3/4 of a inch too short and i had a slight vibration problem. so i had to spend another $275 to have a new shaft made up.

Hea Tim here, when i did the truck the drivers door was salvagable . just had to do a metal patch on the bottom. The drivers wasnt though. I ended up getting a door from Parts Channel. the fit was pretty good overall only i had to do some tweaking internally to get the window to work like normal. if you can find good factory parts ther are worth the few extra bucks you might spend . vs doing bodywork to get aftermarket to fit nice. Good luck.
