This is the same site Saturn lovers may have dropped by to visit before. I have updated the look that had become somewhat over blown... The car is the same as before. As the year progresses, I will add updated pictures, but I doubt the car itself will actually change.
The name of the car is 'Stitch' after the little blue furry alien from Disney's 'Lelo and Stitch'. Yes a grown man naming his beloved ride after a stuffed critter.
///////////////////////////////--------->Why you ask<---------\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
Because Black Demon, or $uper $ized Rolling Bank Account were already taken. Thats why. Seriously, It seemed to fit. Think about all the fine pieces of shiny Go-Fast boy metal, and serious custom sedans that are as high as 4X4's. Real custom cruisers, and classic ladies that cruise Concourse level events. How does a non modified Saturn sedan fit in with crowds like these?
That pretty much is a rhetorical question you can answer on your own...
Any how, this car on these pages is not the fastest ride out there. It isn't used for street racing. It has attended only one car show, but not as an entrant. However, It was parked within easy viewing of everyone at the event. Even more amuzing is that it was a Vintage Ford event! Oh well.
This car means a lot to me. I realize that not every one who visits me here will understand, and may find away to , whats the word?, "Hate" on me. Thats to be expected. All I ask is a level of respect on these pages. I know it is just a Saturn.
It is mine. My wife and I purchased it brand new from our local Saturn Dealer in '02.
/////-->It was a premeditated decision to do so.<--\\\\\
I did not inherit it, nor buy it from a little old lady with grand plans of fixing it up. (kudo's to a recent 60's era Lincoln owner who bought his ride from a little old lady and turned it into a show car!!)
(At Poor Reds Saloon in the Sierra Foothills east of Sacramento California.---^)
Basically what you see her is what you get.
Along the way you will meet a friend of mine with an amazing 64 Galaxie 500 turned NASCAR racer. His name is Don Falloon, and his car is a tribute to a legend in Motorsport. You can find him and his ride at Fireball22 here at Cardomain. When you head his way, let him know I sent you. I can tell you, his page is very cool, funny, and quite interesting. Why thats him here mugging with my Stitch antannae ball!
He is a charactor, and together, He and I make a scary adventerous team. He has this crazy idea (which I help to enable) that we could put a "Petty Wing" on my Saturn to create an acid trip version of the legendary 69 Plymouth Superbird.
It would of course be in fitting tribute to the charactor in Disney/Pixar's Cars known as "King" as played by of course Stitch. Once it happens, and we will have pictures, You'll get the idea...I think.
Any how, I'm just starting to rebuild this site. Again the old one got just a little over blown.
Below is a George Carlin video. Never one to follow the norm of Standup Comedy, his take on everyday life and his essay style delivery became a benchmark for future comedians.
