This is a car I always wanted, A 1968 Coronet R/T.
I fell in love with this style of car when I was in grade school, A good friend of mines Dad had one that was a stripe delete car. I have since found that very car being restored just a few miles of me.
Here is is today....
A few years ago my friend had this car and I told him Id love to have it if it ever come up for sale. 2 years later I stopped by his house looking for a 69 Charger, He didnt have one but thought he might know of one someplace.
Well we sat and talked and I told him I still wanted that 68 R/T and id buy it today if he'd sell it. He said well its for sale I want XXXXX for it. I said SOLD! I'll be back next week with cash or a money order. He laughed it off and said ok.
A week later I was at his house with a truck, trailer and a cashiers for the car. He about fell over LOL.
The car was built and restored by Dan Glen and his friend out of Modesto, California. The car has been in 2 movies as of to date. First one is

The other movie was never released on DVD that I can find.
I have had the car for 2 years now and ran a best of 11.90@119mph.
By the way, It is a numbers matching 440 R/T.
