Here's the "smoking Gun" we found on the driver's door, under the data tag (patent plate). I was shocked! What a find!
Here's the 1971 Publicity photo after the decklid lettering had been changed to "Boss 351." Notice the difference in the last two letters "BOSS 351 They appear to have been painted on, and are crooked and irregular.

Below is a close-up of the left fender decal. Notice the irregular lettering where "302" has been changed to "351"
