The interior of the car was gutted. It had leather seats & full options such as cruise control, power windows & steering, auto transmission, etc.

The rumor was that the owner had a few drinks & slept in his car with the engine & air-cond running high. Proton Waja has a history of electrical short circuiting or the fan might have gone kaput.

I believe the engine overheated & exploded. The hood was blown off its hook.
