Origin 50mm wide FRP Overfenders
Ordered these from 240sxmotoring.com at the beginning of the week and they were dropshipped from Origins warehouse in illinois to my house by the end of that week. Everything arrived safely packaged and undamaged.
I had originally only wanted to roll then flare the stock fenders which you can see i did accomplish with an Eastwood fender roller (for pictures see page 2), but the previous owner had been made a nice dent on the side of the passenger quarter panel right above where the wheel well was, so when i rolled the fender, the bondo didnt react well... so basically after getting both fenders rolled and flared, i went over them both with body filler to try and make them perfect. It wasn't going to happen. The body line was all types of screwed up. Since it was never going to be perfect i decided to just do the overfenders.
With all fiberglass parts there is definetly some inperfections, but nothing too bad. The fitment of these fenders is pretty damn good, just like my Origin-lab aero kit.
The only problem I will seem to have is refitting the sideskirts and rear bumper, now that the panel sticks out more due to the widebody.
Did Some cutting on the fender and hitting with a large hammer, then did some sloppy tack welds to hold it together until i get more gas for my mig welder to finish it correctly.

Now with these fenders installed i should have no problem fitting an 11" wheel in the rear without having to stretch the tires. My stock Flared fenders fit my 18x9.5 +12 wheels with 265/40/18 A048r's and i had alot of space on the inside of the wheel well. So with the new fenders i could fit at least an extra 1-1.5'' more compared to my flared stock fender... plus i had some space to work with toward the coilover, so it'll be nice to know i have options incase i wanna put steam rollers on the rear.

Adding some... Long hair fiberglass/bondo hair/Tiger hair/Mung... whatever you want to call it. i'll just refer to it as Mung.

After removing most of the "Mung" with 60 grit on a sanding block, some 3m waterproof vinyl-ester filler was applied to the porous holes left behind by the "Mung". Then hand sanded to perfection with 80-120 grit.

Since the fenders stick out a noticable amount from the original... Origin-lab supplies an extension to add onto your old gas door so that it will look clean. It would have looked fine if I had left the stock gas door on there, but I decided to use what they gave me. So after a little die grinding of the old door, and some sanding on the back side of the externsion piece it fit right into place over top of the stock gas door. A couple rivets and some Mung later... this is what i came up with...

Fenders all fared, and high build primered, next step is to guide coat and block sand everything smooth with 400>600grit
