Latest pictures on page (4) of 2008 so far.
This is my 1962 lincoln continental it was burgundy, it was posted originaly in 2007. I attempted to add pictures and change the picture on the 1st page and hit delete and thought it would delete the picture not the entire car and write up (oops) but I found most of the old digital down loads from the car except the old interior so now that its done (for now) here it is. It was an all original 86000 mile one owner car. I put 20 inch rims and tires on it and did the interior over stock in white and drove it for about 6 months until the motor started to smoke. I bought a new motor from a 1966 continental a 462 it was rebuilt and put in the car it has a holly 650 carb alternator no more generator and some chrome under the hood. The exaust has cherry bomb mufflers with stainless steel exaust tips. The car was painted black. Im just starting to make the interior more custom it also has 65 lincoln front lower fender trim and 1965 rear quarter panel lower trim and 1965 tail lights. I think black is the best color for this car, Ive been working on it for 2 years now,on the body all the rust was cut out and patches of new metal was welded in. The vacuum locks, vacuum trunk release and power windows and seat all work. I found head light covers(see the picture) from the 50s for it, the only thing to do is put the sound system and a/c back in.Im taking out the wood on the doors and dash and putting in black gloss plastic. Im not sure if the car will ever be done but here it is thanks for looking. (PS) All the work was done in my garage except the paint it was painted in a friends garage up the road from my house the only bad thing about this car is you cant leave it any where or go any where with out people asking about it that makes me feel it was done correct thanks for looking. I just put newer style chrome emblems on the sail panel (the roof panel behind the side rear windows see page 3 photos) for a more custom look. The 2006 cadillac dts is my every day car I just put new rims on it its my 4th dts in 4 years but this one is the best it just turned 5,000 miles im getting an 80 hp. chip for it should make a diffrence I hope.It just got warm today here in Connecticut so I took the Lincoln out of the garage and took some pictures of it and posted them on page (4) they are the latest pictures so far this year (2008) Well I finally did some work to my Caddy just put 22s on it they just make it under they are Kasino Vegas wheels the tires are 245-30-22 makes it look good. Not your dads caddy 09-08-08 new pics of the lincoln just had the hood, and trunk lid re-painted and re-chromed the hood ornament what a diffrence. Just took some more pics 11-05-08 page (7) and did some interior work page (8) I took off the wood and put in black leather on the dash, door panels and glove box door still a way to go ....December 7  2008 just had the interior work done more black leather was put where the wood was (on dash and doors) and custom flames were also added where the door handles are just to make it a little more custom  more to come ..... its may 09 and i just added page 10. I made a center counsel it has a cd player, pop out cup holder, back up camera and a slot for change or stuff a guage for amps, oil, and temp.  The  pop out cup holder is from a Toyota the change slot is from a Jeep and the back up camera is a VR-3 it has a  2.5 inch color screen I mounted the camera above the licence plate out of the way (its wireless) just something diffrent im sure theres more to come....

Loren, thanks for the comments on my Lincoln. Seeing your '62 was one of the reasons I went ahead and bought mine. Love the chrome tail lights and quarter panel trim. Good job -5 stars. Keep her running.

Hey Loren, its been a while since i been on here, still getting our internet sorted at home. Just getting the car ready for the summer roads, put a Pertronix ign in yesterday, starts way better, have a car show on sunday that im hoping to attend, just need to pass the safety inspection first, The tint that i have on the windows is illegal in NZ, its too dark, but it makes the car.
