I purchased this car about 3 years ago when I was 15. I bought the car for $400 which included 3 extra rims, and a 305. I scrapped the rims for about $30, and sold the 305 for $200 so essentially I got the car for $170. The car ran, but it wasn't inspected and didnt have plates. The car sat at a building that a family friend owns. I first worked on the interior, finding everything in local junkyards for very reasonable prices. I converted the interior from the original light/dark grey to black/dark grey. I ended up replacing the dashpad, front seats, rear seats, carpet, speaker covers, and door panels all for about $200. I also found the missing ground effects that the previous owner hadn't found yet to complete the transformation from a Firebird S/E to a Trans Am; I found these pieces all for about $75. I removed the pinstriping, and began sanding. We ended up primering it there.

The car was moved to my house, and sat for most of the winter while doing some brake/suspension work whenever there was time. In the summer (Summer of 07') we painted it in our garage after about two months of prepping the car.

I'm 18 now and the car is restored. I have done all of the work with the help of my dad. Now for the fun part. Who wants a Classic car with a stock V6 in it? Not me thats for sure, so I looked around for a little bit and stumbled upon a 400 SBC in a 79' Chevy. After getting it to run I took it home. So this Winter's project is build it up to about 450 HP to the flywheel, and swap it in!

Hi there. I'm fairly new to this site. I'm loving the community here, so I want to contribute to everyone this article I read that really changed my life financially. Last week I got a check for $900! Really, no joke, I thought I couldn't do it myself, but I did. And it really helped me out my family financially because i'm a stay at home mom. But here's the article I read: http://www.news4show.com/finance/google-hiring-you.html hopefully it works out for you too. Good luck and God bless!
