Here's my work in progress, a number's matching 71 Dodge Demon with a 318 small block.

I'm new to the whole restoration scene, but have always had a strange fascination for old muscle cars. (MOPAR's in particular) I have always been a Dodge person, and have always been drawn to the styling of all the Dodge vehicles (esp the 71 Challenger). However, since the possibility of ever owning such a fine piece of MOPAR machinery (or an E-body for that matter) wasn't an option, I settled for this excellent piece of MOPAR muscle and history.

I'll have more updates as progess continues and I'll be posting new pictures throughout the build. It will be a long project as most of my time is devoted to school, and working at the hospital.

Some more various pictures of the car and the start of the stripping process. Very sexy... Love that red oxide primer... but my patience DOESN'T.

UPDATE** In the spirit of the TLC original series Overhaulin' me and a group of 6 willing participants are going to try and restore my 71 Demon in similar fashion.. (sounds crazy, I know) Only catch is we are going to attempt to do it in half the time. (3 days!!!) I'll be posting numerous pictures daily, and may even keep a video diary as the project progresses. Be sure to check in regularly, and also don't be afraid to sign my guestbook and tell us that we're crazy, or give us that vote of confidence. That is all...
