This is me and my 85' Chevy K10 pickup. I'm in still high school and dumped most of my money into my other car so I really don't have much money to fix this up any more then it already is, most of the work done to the truck was by the guys down the road from me that I bought it from.
This was a few days after I got it. It had a ground up restoration a few years back so it's in great condition.
A shot at the back.
Tailgate dropped.
This is a rare engine. It was a swap from an 86' Chevy Camaro IROC Z 350 with TPI. What makes the engine rare is that in 86' the only Camaros with a 350ci were test cars and only 50 were made. When the truck was being restored, the guys who did it had it laying around so they put it in.
I was instaling Dixie Horns in this pic. The horns came off my Challenger.
Every hick needs a set of Dixie Horns
The tires up front. They're 33X12.5 Mickey Thompson Super Swampers with Mickey Thompson Classic Lock rims. The tires work so well in the mud, it's crazy.
The rims in back but with the center caps. I have manual locking hubs and don't have the caps up front.
The dash. It is cracked bad from years of sun exposure so I have a custom dash cover until it's replaced. My gas gauge doesn't work either so I need a new sending unit, until then I'm guessing how much gas I've got, hasn't failed me yet!
The seats. They are 40/20/40 split bench seats from a newer Silverado.
Another seat pic.
My Pioneer head unit, I'm so pissed, some a**hole broke into my truck when I was in Boston, Mass at a Bruins game with 5 of my buddies and he tried to steal the stereo, my friends and I walked into the parking garage just in time and pulled him out of the cab then he took off around the corner!
The new front clip. It's off either a Blazer, Suburban, or a 1ton pickup. I'm looking for a bull bar for my truck but I'm having trouble finding cheap ones for 73-87 Chevys. When I do find one I'll throw it on.
Sitting in the driveway after the annual memorial car show at MHS.
The bed loaded down with dirt. My cousin, brother and I were making a dirtbike jump in my back yard, my parents loved that.
After building the jump and washing out the bed.
Back with my friends from fishing at Melville pond in Portsmouth, RI. All of us are into fishing and hunting and that sort of stuff so a good time was had by all.
Back from the Spectator Drag up at Seekonk. I went against my friend and his 87' Monte Carlo SS, I was surprised at how tight of a race it was but I ended up losing by a length and a half. I think I would have won if I took my Dodge.
I touched up the emblems on the fender so they pop out.
The damper up front. It's painted up and looks good with the 4'' lift.
Underneath the truck, No rust. Not the greatest pic but whatever.
These are the dual Flowmasters. With these and the headers together you'll hear me comming up the road.
My new 2 1/2'' Superior Automotive chrome tips. The exhaust looks better then it did before but I don't like that you can see where the tips end and that they stick out so far. I'll have to get the pipes chromed out because that heat resistant chrome spray paint sucks.
This is the only import I own. My 01'Honda CR85. I race it in the summer at Capeway Rovers MX track. We have four other bikes. A 02' Suzuki DRZ 400, 06' Kawasaki KLX 125, 07' kawasaki KLX 110 mini, and our 05' Honda CRF 70 mini.
Back from racing. 5th place of 25 racers.
