This is my 1985 Chevy Silverado K10 pickup.

I had wanted to buy this truck ever since I was 10 and finally did on my own when I was 14 for $5800.

Parked in my yard.

The truck had a ground up restoration about 7 years ago so it's in relatively good shape.

Unfortunatly when they got towards the end of the restoration they skipped installing alot of things, like door handle bezels, exterior emblems, and stuff like that. There was also quite a bit of surface rust starting to show up again.

Soon after I got the truck I went to work finishing the restoration.

The truck has custom paint on it, its TM Honda gren and Gun Metal gray. I had plans to repaint the truck because as most paint on Honda's do, the clearcoat began to peel off. I has thinking about darkish red or something major broke on the truck after I made these plans so I got the truck fixed instead of new paint.

That major problem I mentioned basically cleared out my savings account. The sediment that settles at the bottom of the gastank got sucked up through the fuel filter. The tank has been rusting on the inside so most of the stuff settling at the bottom of the tank was rust. The rust got sucked through the fuel filter and shredded it, it then went through the fuel pump and clogged it, basically completly burning it out. The truck had dual tanks but the pump on left side was also dead.

To fix the truck I brought it to my friend's garage down the road who dropped the right and left tanks from the truck. Because the left tank was still in good shape he moved it over to the right side and put in a new fuel pump, filter, and lines. The only problem I have now is that the sending unit on the left tank was dead and it never got switched out when the tanks were moved so now I don't know how much gas I have in the truck.

I wanna get a pushbar for the truck so if you're in the Southern New England area and you know about one for sale let me know.

When it had the restoration they swapped out the 1/2 frame for a 3/4 ton.

I took this on my birthday this year, I got a Husky Tool Box. probably the most used thing on the truck.

I'm hoping to re-paint the truck a darkish red to replace the green and keeping the came color gray.

Hood up. Along with the restoration the guys did a engine swap. They replaced the 6.2L Diesel with a 5.7L 350ci engine from a 1986 Chevy Camaro IROC-Z with TPI. Whats cool is that in 1986 Camaro IROC-Zs only came in 305ci and the 350ci TPIs were only in the test cars at the time and there were 50 built according to thirdgen.org. The 350ci with TPI was only avalible in the Corvettes in 1986 so tecnically my truck has a Corvette engine.

I wanna get a spray on bedliner because I have a dirtbike and ATV and when they're in the back the bed can take a beating.

The truck has dual Flowmasters. This is before the tips.

With the tips. I spraypainted them gray so they blend in the the pipes more.

Under the truck.

The damper.

The new emblems. When i got the truck there were just holes in the fender for a emblem so I found these on ebay that go to a 1978 Silverado.

The back tire. Micky Thompson Baja 33''x12.5'' tires and Micky Thompson Classic Lock rims.

My dad and my truck at the gatage I work at.

My truck at the garage again.

I was chopping wood out back and figured it would be cool to flex the suspension on it.

Flexing from the back
