Right now the car is in the middle of a front end upgrade, whole new wiring harness, an engine swap, and a new interior. The front suspension is from a 1972 ford capri from europe. engine and transmission are 2.0L OHC german engine that came in a capri or 1971-74 pinto, and the 4 speed that came with it. rear end is 105E anglia with 4:12 gears, stock no less. An aftermarket wiring harness is being installed to solve the many wiring problems these cars had from new, most notably the lacking fuse set up. The car so far has a few moon eyes parts, like smoothie hub caps, gas pedal, metal flake steering wheel, fuel cap, gauges and a few other pieces. The fuel tank is being made from a 15.5 Gallon Beer keg, a sending unit added in, a fuel pick up line and a filler neck, accesible only when opening the trunk. The interior is reusing the stock seats, being recovered in black with spiderwebs stiched across them, and some original interior lights being deleted, like dome light and door lights.
The engine details include things like a cam upgrade, modified patriot header, ford motorsport moly rings, forged pistons, custom oil pan to fit chassis, high volume oil pump, offenhauser 4 barrel intake, an Eaton Supercharger with custom adaptor plate to mate to intake, and 390cfm 4 barrel holley blower carb mounted on an offy cross ram adaptor to position the carb in a good spot. cylinder head alo recieved new bearings and a 3 angle valve grind. still looking for an aluminum valve cover to fit, and the right cam, most likely a crane.
The goal is in the next few months to have it running and driving, another one is being built in the family, a 4 door, and we have an already finished panel van, stock appearing.

Hi, first car I owned was a 100E in 1968, tha old side valve engine was very much in demand at that for use in Eastern flat boats and English ice-cream van's, anyway, nice to see one again, regards, David Have another 5 stars
