Just a basic '86 MJ X for now. Project is upcoming this spring/summer. Stay tuned for updates and new pics the end of July. Right now, it has the boat anchor called a motor; GM 2.8L carbed (bored out to a 3.2L), and a 3 spd auto tranny with the 229 selectrac t-case. It will be all swapped out for a 4.0L, AW4/NP242 combo.
It is also running true dual exhaust with no cats and dual glasspacks exiting under the bumper. Yea, it's loud.
Possible change of plans, I'll know more later.
The day I got it home from Ohio.
Had a lil fun in some mud, nothing too serious though.
A lil poseur shot.
Fresh from a spray painting.
How it sits now.
Here's a quick video of how loud it actually is. Keep in mind that the camera is at least 15-20 feet behind the truck.
Progress will be making it into a mini M715, hence the name of MJ15.

Love what your doing with your MJ! Sounds great, little loud for me but bad ass none the less! I am getting dual exhaust cat back put on my jeep next week, but not going the glass pack way tho. Nice job on the paint, was that rattle can? Looks like you oversprayed a little on the tire, lol. You picked the same colors I'm doing on mine just reversed, good to know the color combo looks good! Keep up the good work!
lookin good as usual
Holy crap dude! It sounds baaaad! I guess I need a vid of the 2.5 with the Thrush and the turn down. Keep up the good work and thanks for rating my ride! You know how much I love to ramble on about it so I'll cut it short, but i appreciate you stopping by. Love your trucks man. * * * * *
What exactly are your upcoming plans for this truck? I have an '87 that I'm in the progress of messing with.
