I just picked this car up over the summer. Pretty much all original except for the GTO 389 that was installed about 30 years ago when the original 350 was blown. It now sits at just under 90,000 original miles. Its been painted twice but has VERY minimal body work and all original interior-pretty good shape for a car older than me. Fun Saturday drive.
I threw in a new double roller timing chain set, new water pump and have done a few seals and minor maintenance but other than that-really solid. I just picked up some new tires and classic Pacer wheels to replace the boring stock steel set that had hubcaps-nice upgrade in my mind. I still need to get the oil pressure gauge working-but its on the road. I have a new disc brake conversion kit sitting in the garage as soon as I get an afternoon free to install: the front drums are a little spongy after a couple quick stops or corners.
