This is my 1955 Chevrolet 3100 second series pickup. It was a field find that I restored it in 1993-1996. It has a 350ci engine with flat top pistons, Wolverine Blue Racer (Crane) cam, Headman Headers, Holley carburetor and a turbo 350 transmission. It took 2 parts trucks and a 1981 Caprice station wagon (donor for engine and transmission) to complete this truck. The first picture is at a car show here in Wagoner in 2006. The last picture is the truck when I first brought it home.

Very nice remodel! My family and I are working on our own '55 Chevy 3100. I really like how yours came out, very clean. 5 stars! Check our progress every once and a while, we work on it daily.
I dig the puple.

Beautiful truck. My favorite trucks are the '56 Chevy and the '69 Chevy. Not quite a '56, but awesome. I love the color. I'm going to paint my GMC dark purple eventually.

Wow... sweet truck... she looks great! The engine looks great! I like the color of the truck too and wood in the bed, that is classic! Is that vintage AC in there also? Really nice.... great job on the restoration... all that time paid off... beautiful truck!! 5 stars... get your stars up so I can rate you... come by and check out my 59 Dodge sometime.
