The supercharged 3.8 litre that was build by Super Six Motorsports in Georgia.  With 10 pounds of boost, 40# injectors, BBK valve covers, roller cam and a set of completely roller rocker arms.  With that a long with a Snow Performance water/methenol injection setup the 0-100 speeds will decrease substantially!  I might be in a wheelchair but my converted Windstar will bending over speed limit signs once again!  I just need to get on the ball and get the problems fixed ASAP and it should be running by the end of October 2009.

With a Crower cam, ported and polished heads with a three angle valve job, exhaust by Dr. Gas, the 3" oval tubing will then split over the rear axle into two AERO TURBINE 2525XL's giving everyone I pass a hint that "This isn't some soccer mom's mini-van!"  It's much, much more than a 'stock little van'!

It'll start by sucking all the necessary air through a K&N Filter and then into the M112 supercharger which never made it onto an 2003 Cobra as I was lucky enough to find it on eBay for around $500.00, and I see them all the time (used) for under $400.00.  Just talk to SSMS and they'll build you a terrific long block that can easily handle 400+ horsepower!  Just be prepared to shell out the money because quality comes at a price.

My van rides on directional Michelin Pilot Sport 235/50-17 Z rated tires mounted on 17" MB Racing chrome wheels (see pictures).   The tires may have set me back about $287.00 each, but I know that they are built better than any tire on this planet.

When I get it broken in, I'll have some 0-100 times with my G-Tech Pro monitor.  I'll post more then but the engine will be in my van by the end of November 2009.  So until then, work on your rides and let the streets rattle!

Here's a link to my web site: www.windstar-sc.com as "seeing is believing!"

By the way; I'm in a wheelchair and if that was "supposed to slow down my life and life style…?”  I say, "No way, and no how and it's been over two decades!"  I've lived through more than many people would have nightmares of, I can’t say I didn’t have nightmares the first five years. When you lose a child and not talk to ANYBODY about it, it’ll drive you to think really terrible things that are not good as it was less than two months after my accident. Now I’ve lost half my family since 2003, my father, step-father, older brother, and mother.  I came too close to might give up on but, if you can't take what life has dealt you, get some sort of help.  I nearly hit that "wall of doom" and suppose I'll find a way either through it or, around it someday but I just do my very best to be and, think positive.  If you go to my personal website; www.bruceswebsite.com you'll think that I'm either dead or, crazy.  Crazy, most likely…

If you'd like to help "Donate to the Cause" I would be over joyed if you'd like to help me out! Just go into PayPal and I'd gladly accept anything from one cent to...whatever amount you'd like to donate.  Just use the email address: windstarhelp@gmail.com and you have NO IDEA how much I would appreciate it!  Someday, someway, I will pay you back as I really hate three things: 1. DONATIONS (to me) , 2. GETTING RIPPED OFF ! 3. SEEING "OTHERS GET RIPPED OFF ".  Just because I'm in a wheelchair, doesn't mean that I need money (except this time) as I know in time that I will be able to pay everybody back who donates to my cause!  I think every body would feel the same way I do and I would be the first to help somebody out, it might not be much but nonetheless, I would do what I could. thank you very much for reading my blog. And, if there is anything that I can do for you please do not hesitate in asking!

I do you have for sale the factory upper intake for any "Split Port" Ford V-6.  All of the sensors, the factory throttle body is still on it.  I will take $75 plus shipping to anywhere in the continental United States.  It will allow you to turbocharge any Mustang or Ranger pick-up relitivly easy.if I do need money as fast as I do, I would just give it to somebody or just the shipping, but I'm just really room and needing to get my project finished before I lose my mind, that is lose it any further!  there is a picture of it on my website: www.windstar-sc.com , just look for the tab which says "For Sale" and there are a few pictures of it in my lawn.

thank you for the compliment, I appreciate it. And yes, my van will be finished in about 30 days and I can't wait but I want everything done CORRECTLY! Nothing will be Mickey Moused around on my van because if you're going to spend the kind of money that I did, you want to make sure it's done right the first time. But after the engine gets broke in all be preying on every vehicle that comes up next to me at a stop light! As for the engine; it was a totally new engine that was built by Super Six Motorsports in Georgia. If you have a V-6 and you want to see more out of it, Super Six Motorsports is the place to go! One thing to keep in mind if you have Windstar is that a Mustang 3.8 L has a completely different engine block so one cannot be changed out for the other!! Other than that though, any other Mustang performance parts will fit on to the Windstar engine. And if you have a Mustang, a great way to make extra horsepower is to use a Windstar upper intake manifold. It'll will bolt right onto the Mustangs lower intake than old and increase airflow substantially! If you're interested in one, I have one for sale along with a set gaskets to do this, or if you need to replace your complete intake manifold. Feel free to contact me or check my website at: www.windstar-sc.com Thanks again and take care

hey bruce... i also have a 96 windstar with nothing but a performance exhaust and it goes like hell but i was wondering if you just used your stock 3.8L and put the supercharger on or if you got a new motor?

I have another 1996 Windstar with over 125,000 miles on it. It runs like a bat out of hell and that's with absolutely no power adders other than the freer flowing exhaust versus the stock exhaust system. I'll need to put some pictures of it online also as its a pretty bad a$$ little van. They have great low-end torque along with terrific high end horsepower due to the split part intake system on these 200 HP rated engines. I live at an altitude of over 5,700 feet above sea level where many engines struggle to breathe, but not any 3.8 litre Windstar's. I think they'd be great at stoplight racing due to the make up of the engine from 1996-on. Ford engineers knew what they were doing not only then but the trend continues! They'd be great for a high school kid's vehicle as you not only have a nice ride just by taking care of it but with its HP and "roominess floor/seats", it could make for a studio apartment per se on weekends and nights with your girlfriends! I never wrote this so "be careful not to read between the lines", I'm not saying to do as I did but rather do as you wish 'very carefully'.
