My Cougar every one calls it "The Fuckin Cougar" Lots of work goes into her. She is a running project car. Everyday driver. and everyday she is driven hard.. Im starting to paint goin with flat black at first then sooner go to either a midnite blue or a dark candy purple.. im removing the trim and i removed the trunk keyhole. i put 85 taillights(junkyard$10) which was one hell of a job to do. this car is made of blood sweat and tears bustin nuckles-blood workin on her hard-sweat my girlfriend is scared to go fast and starts to freakout-cry she will be finish soon i need to get another car so i can just let her sit untill i finish with new engine and everything.. a> |

too bad your LS doesn't have the Trac-Lok 7.5 rear like my 85 XR7 does. Whats that have for rear gears? can't be the stock 2.73's my guess is 3.55 or 3.73's?

summit is always your best bet for internals but the prices aren't always as great, still waiting on that 351, i really don't think my aod will fit but i've always wanted it to be a standard anyway ;)

Thanks, a already got a new exhaust on it. I went with a WALKER muffler instead because my brother said it has the best flow, but i had to sacrifice the cool rumble sound.

I am so freakin excited, my friends BF went out and got me a 351W out of a '79 coug, i'ma drop that damn thing in as soon as it get's all pretty n clean, i'll drop pix asap.

hey man do you know if the v8 and v6 had same exhaust pipe diameters?? if so, then what is it? im going to get a magnaflow muffler for my cat. what im going to do is make the system end somewhere near the drivers seat and make a turn down tip.
