I never doubted this project from the beginning.
Route 44 Hyundai wanted another show car from me I gladly took the mission.
Here is the 44 option package on an SE.

This is a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon SE, which comes with a 6 speed manual, Track-tuned Sport Suspension, Cross-Drilled Rotors, and Kenwood Sound System. It is almost unique in the U.S.
The base kit is a Hana front and rear bumper cover. Add in side-skirts and Hyundai's official licensed AEM Short Ram intake and you have quite the car.
You may be wondering how we got to this, so here is the story.
It all started with this vehicle.

A Turbonetics sponsored supercharged 2.7 liter Tiburon wide body.
I did some research on the Tiburon and although it doesn't get much respect it is a very fun car and very upgradeable, including a little work to the 4 cylinder actually turning it into a functional turbo engine capable of 400hp! Thats what I call bolt-on!
Well, no sponsor wanted to dedicate to a 320 hp 4 cylinder, but they did need a car they could show off, so Route 44 Hyundai asked us to do a car. The first cars were just rim packages and they sold really fast (within hours).
So I did a custom wide body. Unfortunately it was on the lot awaiting its finishing touches when a customer saw it and bought it... unfinished! This is what it looked like before it left.

Which brings us to now. Summer rolled around again and after being asked several times to do another Tiburon and declining because I couldn't do the performance I found what I consider a unique kit and changed my mind.
These were the pictures I saw from Germany, when the kit wasn't even in the US.

The rest, as they say, is history.
I was under the impression that after this build that I would say goodbye to upgraded Hyundais for good... I was wrong.
While this was all going on, Hyundai introduced the 2010 Hyundai Genesis coupe. A 4 cylinder turbo, rear wheel drive w/LSD, and Brembo brakes!

Needless to say, my next project will be my own as I've already said to reserve an SE for me.
