1988 Camaro

Thanks for dropping by to take interest in my Camaro's page! I hope ya enjoy it!

Bio:

I received this nice little piece of muscle in the fall of 2006, it wasn't like I had expected my first car to look like unfortunently with a torn/stripped and mouse expeditioned interior to the multi colored primer black outer shell. Along with the lack of lights and "legal" expectations of a once dreamed drag car of the previous owner. Anyways, nearly soon after getting it we decided we'd need to start on it right away. Starting with a motor and transmission which it was lacking as well. Few weeks past and BAM their we had created a little frankenstein with a 350 V8 rebuilt and bored to a 383 '84 Corvette engine and 4.11 gears. Then came all the nice sanding and boring work which I won't exactly explain to you on account it's not real exciting. :P

Slowly it progressed through the months between school and activities and some finacial help from pops lol until all the 100's of hours put into it and everything paid off and we finally finished it late 2008. Took roughly about 2 years to finish it with 2 guys who really don't do much with cars but hey it was a learning experince on my part and I take pride in what I've been able to do with it all. :)

I didn't really document on it too much so I couldn't tell you what exactly is on it and what not but I dont really seem to see a reason to have done so like I've seen before. All I care about really is the before and after shots because if theirs a major difference in the restoration of the overall appearance and feel of the car, that's all that matters to me!

Picture of it right after sanding off the original black primer and some body work and then coating it in another layer of primer.

I took these a few days after getting the engine and trans put in, this was kind of a "I told you I have a car" picture that I took in the middle of the night so someone belived me lol  As you can see this is my only picture of it when I first got it with out having any outside or inside work done to it.
