well, this truck has been a project for about a year and a half. It has turn'd out real well, my goal was to have a v-8 truck with all the power options, air, and what ever else u could have.(except gas milage!) The truck gets about 19 mpg on open road as long as u don't have u foot hung out of the floor pan! Its got a 406 small block, bored .030, flat top eagle pistons steel crank, cast iron heads that have been ported by myself and Victor Jr. air gap intake ported to match the heads, 700 holley carb, all valve train componets are from comp cams, it has a 278 X-treme energy cam, with roller tip rockers. backin that up is a 700r4 trany, with shift kit and some odds and ends done on top of that, and puttin it to the ground is the factor ss rearend with 3:42 gears w/ a posi-unit. It was painted in sept. 06 and has been taken very good care of. This is a really clean and FAST runnin truck. If anybody is interested its for sale.
