ok at this point i have got her running but not very well. the tbt was bad and caused her to jump time. i am only getting 13.7 mpg at this point and have alot of cel codes coming up. as you can see i started very light after i got her running by adding a stb and cold air intake.

ok the following pics started withe what i thought was going to be an easy job of replacing the factory exaust manis with headers and new o2s. well one think lead to another and i just had to keep going. i planned to use yellow wire loom to add a little bit of ricer bling under the hood and yellow silicone vac lines to replace the origional hardened factory vac lines. so to help make the yellow stand out even more i decided to paint my rear vc and intake mani with a dark color. the color i chose was "cast iron". heres an example on how it will look.

ok now on to the job of installing the yellow loom. i did not just stick it over the wiring. first i removed the factory loom and tape so that i could inspect every inch of the wiring harness dor any damage and bad insulation. after that i retaped the harnes and installed the loom. now i also did add loom to places tat really didnt need it. like the hood prop and brake lines and verious non vacuum hoses.

the headers and chrome mazda front valve cover are now on at this point also.

yes im still working on it. i have more of the wiring inspection completed and more loom installed. manthis is truely alot of work and it isnt helping that im doing all my work with only a gravel floor under a carport with temps in themid to low 30's. i really wish it would warm up soon.

well the phenos are here now i have have just finished installing the intake and getting everything hooked back up. also in pics not shown i have done alot of replacing bad parts for new ones. the caris running alot better now but has still got some work under the hood to go. at this point i am seeing 25.7 mpg ouut of her wich is a whole lot better than the 13.7 i was getting. with some more work i should have everything lined out. here are the pics of how she finally turned out.

Nice project car. I got mine around the same time as you. What's up with those smooth interior door panels? I have to look into getting a set of those. I have got a lot done in the past month but am feeling sick so will have to take an updating brake for a week or so, I have white faced gauges coming but other than that I think I'm done for a lil bit. Good luck with your project, I know I have been pleased with mine. Later, Trav
