Hi there,

Well this is my humble ride, it�s a Mexican Hyundai Atos by Dodge 2001. I got this one from my mom about 4 years ago and since then I have tried to upgrade it while still keeping most of its original look.

This is how I got it:

As you can see the front bumper was a bit bruised and not alligned correctly. Also my fog lamps were broken and I still had those dull headlights.

First thing I wanted to do was to replace the damaged bumper and give it a new look with new headlights (Atos 2003 ones), so it then looked like this:

I really liked the new look but I didnt want to have the paint job done yet, so I bought a Custom made front deflector (dont know the name) to cover the unpainted bumper and give it a Mean look...also I added a sport tail exhaust tip and some Dragons on the back door...

Then my stock stereo burnt so I had to get a new one, I just wanted something that could read CDs and my ipod, nothing fancy, so I went with a Sony Xplod Combo, it included 2x 6.5" and 2x 6x9 speakers. I hid the front ones and put the big "turtles" on a custom made MDX board on the back.

At this time I was already happy and proud. My car was nice and had a nice sound system. After some chats with friends and checking other cars I started trying to get more from my little engine, so I went with a Custom made Air Intake System (with aluminum tubes inside), Bosch Super 4 Platinum Plugs and a nice High Flow Air Filter with heat delfector to improve performance a bit. I also removed the exhaust and added a 12in Bullet. The speed improved a lot and the car runs like a breeze, considering its engine. I also got increased MPG and a nice RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNN sound. Check it out:

The I thought of improving the headlights....so I went with 8000 K Xenon HID lamps with high beams in Halogen.

Then I went back to improving the sound System and got from a friend a Mini Kenwood Ecualizer, Sony Xplod AMP and Sony Xplod Woofer. I got them installed and then I put a little .5 Farad Capacitor to protect the system.

UPDATE!!!

I got an Ipod Interface for my stereo...it is great! Also I hid my ipod in the car�s ash tray, I had to drill a hole in the back to pass the cable. Ipod can be easily removed to connect to PC. Interface charges the ipod. Look:

Finally, you may have noticed the color switches located near the capacitor, these control my cars Multi Color LED Angel Eyes!!! I usually cruise around with them in Blue or Red but Ill put up a pic with each color, enjoy:

One red led on the left rim is burnt, thats why the colors seem different. Cyan is my favorite!

The last thing I added was some Brushed Aluminum Stickers in the inner part of the sideskirts, custom made with my nick name, Ill show them later.

Well I finally got my custom made stickers for the inner part of the sideskirts, they look nice and have my nickname.

I got a nice Optima Yellow Top Gel Battery!!! I need to change the cables and plugs to fit in the battery...this is:

Ok, I finally got it installed, had to shave off a little of the stock battery rack, but the battery now fits perfectly.

I will also buy a "quemacocos" soon....this is the hole...

Ok, straight from the Netherlands today I got my WEBASTOHOLLANDIA 6 position Manual Sun Roof! I like it a lot! And it has the plus of having an easily removable crystal! Ill put pics of most of its postions:

Update! I got my calipers and drums painted! I did it myself. It wasn�t hard but required some time to do it correctly. I bought a can of VHT GOLD Caliper paint. I tried to match the car�s color to look better, i think it turned out great!

I applied 3 coats of paint, I may add another one to use all tha paint. As a little detail I put some BREMBO stickers on the calipers and drums, gives it a little extra :p.

What do you think....it was not very expensive and looks and works great.

And this is it, this next pic is how my ride actually looks clean.

And a video on how it sounds, the sunroof and some other details. Im the guy in the Superman shirt :D. Also my sound can boom harder, but I didnt want to bother the neighbors and I want to keep my audition intact :D. Enjoy.
