Here's my 383 Duster ,
Which took 5 years to rebuild, she was stripped to the shell where the major rust areas and engine compartment were sand blasted, from there the tail, and grill were modified to our liking!
We then dropped a 69' H coded 383 4bbl, ( this is a real 383 not a Chev 350 stroked!)the engines running on 10:1 compression, putting out aprox 350HP and 425ft.lbs torque, shes running on 100 LL av gas. the torqueflite 727 was rebuilt, and custom shift linkage was installed due to lack of engine compartment space. Which is now hooked up to a 8 1/4 rear with 3.23 gears. The car has front disk brakes, and was changed to the large bolt pattern all around, and sits on 4 60 series bfgoodrich radial T/A tires (P225 60R15).
Dual 2.5 inch exhaust runs straight through the tail of the car with an H cross over. The rear spoiler was found in the trunk of a sitting duster in a farmers field, and was installed, along with the hood scoop found in my buddies garadge, where later the tazmanian devil was air brushed onto it..
The interior is customized, with re upholstered cammaro seats, the dash was customized for auto meter phantom gauges and took me aproximately 60 hours to get the gauges sitting just right, and to look like they were flowing. Our stereo friend installed the stereo system, and built the center console, and rewired the car from nose to tail.
To top it all off we splashed the car lime green in our shop to stand out in the crowd..hope you like!
