The time has finally come to start, (and hopefully acutally get to complete) my MX3 project.  It has been about a year since my last attempt, which had to be postponed due to a "series of unfortunate events". Yeah, 2008 was not a good year.  Lets hope 2009 is a little better though.  Here is the car before any work is done.

Now to start, the car has been completely torn down and is in my garage in the process of being stripped to bear metal, and repainted.

Here are some pictures of the car in my garage as of 25 March 2009.  Less than 1/4 of the original paint left to strip still...As I said before, I'm taking it down to bare metal, the right way...not just spraying new paint overtop of the old.  Kinda like shining a turd...in the end, you'll just end up with a shiny piece of crap...

Now here it is...all sanded and preped for the first coats of primer to go on...of course it still needs to be washed and wiped with some tac cloth...these pictures are as of 31 March 2009

Finally...progress!!!!!  Got the base coat down though. So here's some pictures as of 04 April 2009.

Next step is to do a little wet sanding before the next coat...

The orange is so bright, I like it. Not my favorite color but on this ride it suits it well 5*
