"FOG CUTTER" Started life as a plumbers van, he special ordered it from the dealer to go to Quigley and get the 4x4 treatment so he could haul the heavy furnaces and such and also could work year round and not fear getting stuck on any new construction sites, He traded it in on a new one.. and I seen it at the dealer makin the wheels turn every time I past by...On the first weekend I had off my curiousity got the best of me and I had to stop by and check it out... after looking closer at it I thought to myself I had to get it... talked to the salesman and took it for a ride... I liked it ALOT! now for the price.... whoa... about 3K more then I wanted to spend... so I left and figured I would play there game and wait for a call.... well I got the call about a week later and ofcoarce was about half of where I wanted to be... I said talk with your manager and call me back if you have a better offer.... I found out car lots have a rule about not having a vehicle sitting on the lot more then a month or they ship it off to sell or trade at auction.... he called once again coming down a little more... then I think probably right before it was to go to auction he called again... I guess the boss figures cheaper to sell it cheaper then to move it around... finally I got MY price and she was mine... brought it right home and immediately took off the ladder racks... Then the up coming weekend was Keystone so I loaded up my camping gear and took her to her first even... only had her one day!
As time and money allowed I started on the interior... first gutting all the racks and the divider, then insulating it with the help of my brother Yux,
I had it with the work van look and had to spray the dash, dogbox and door panels with stone creation paint... ahhh customizing!
from there I did all the walls, floor and ceiling with plywood
and then started on my overhead amp rack design in the back...

then the bed and the walls for the bed area what a PITA because of the multitude of complex angle cuts....
used very uncommon materials in the interior as in blue tinted glass blocks,
ceiling tile that resembles tin
and paving bricks YES they are real brick!
With the help of Shawn we used log home chinking between the bricks to resemble mortar ...
and then with the help of Yux again we installed a wallpaper mural lighthouse sea scene on wall next to the lighthouse shaped bed area...
Then came the electronics and lighting... a 6 channel JL Audio in the rack above the bed along with 2 Stinger Caps and 2 6x9 JL triaxles 2 of the 6x9s in the front doors and under the bed is 2 10in subs
and to 8 in triaxles all of this is hooked up to a Jenson DVD flip out touch screen head unit...
which also has a back up cam in the license plate and iPod in the glove box... this system rocks! and I am very happy with it... It is also wired to have a TV on the side wall "eventually" After the audio video system was complete it was time for carpet with the color being of sand..... The interior is 95% finished, still need the rear TV and some more lighting.... Hope to start some of the body work... a few dings and a little rust on one of the side barn doors and maybe paint... depends on the cash flow!!! and eventually will be finished with a lighthouse type mural....
