Bought a Edelbrock Camshaft Kit and Timing Kit. Only cost me $180 bucks. Also bought an Edelbrock TBI Performer Intake Manifold. Only cost me $205 out the door. Just waiting for my taxes to come back so i can have it all installed along with my hooker headers and 3" exhaust.
Had a lil run in w/ a curb on an icy road.. bent the left front rim and now i have the Formula rims on it.... looks stupid to me but least that was the only damage it did.. prolly needs an alignment in the spring too... found a GTA Black rim like it had.. gunna cost me 130 dollars for a new one tho.. OUCH! MORE PICS TO COME SOON!!!!

Thanks for looking at my page everyone.... I'm 19 years old and currently drive a 1988 Pontiac Trans Am GTA. Its got all the options with T-Tops, Power everything, Lumbar Support seats and it came with a 305 TBI 5.0 L V8. It also has full Posi rear end. The car only has an orginal 107,800 miles on the body and only 5,000 miles on the motor. The motor according to the preivious owner was rebuilt just a month before i bought it.. Now i got this car for a great deal.. I traded my 1997 Pontiac Grand Am GT 2 door that i had supercharged and 450 bucks cash for this car. The paint needs some TLC as is has some scrathes, a few dings here and there and some minor blemishes.. But after a few coats of wax she still gleems like a beauty. Ive only owned the car since late September and i try not to drive it in the snow but with only a part time job its hard to afford another vehicle. But she gets her baths once a week to keep the road salt off her. I have been shopping around a lot for parts and so far this is what i have installed..
EdelBrock Chrome Air Covers w/ K&N Air filter
Accel Platnium U-Spark Plugs
Accel 8mm Super Stock Wires Yellow
B&M TransPak Stage 2 Shift Kit
Brembo Dilled and Slotted Rotors in front
Flowmaster 3" Single in and 3" Dual Out Muffler
No longer has a Catalytic Converter
Also got a set of Super Competition 3" Hooker Shortie Headers waiting to go on in the spring alsong with a full 3" exhaust system all the way back...
Thats all that Iv'e been able to afford since i got it and i have many more plans for the car later on... I also have 2 12" JBL P122 2400 watt subwooffers in the hatch with a Clarion XL1700 4000 watt amp. Just because of the big system i had to install a bigger alternator just to handle the load. I go to Knoll Gas Raceway which is a quarter mile racetrack in southwest Michigan.. In a quarter mile i can run 15.940 at 87mph as of now. The thing i love about these cars is that there is no top speed limiter because they weren't a regulation back in 1988. This car also has the WS-6 Suspension and it handles like a true American dream. No body roll what so ever around corners. It has a 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive. I much rather prefer a manual but u gotta work what u got right guys???
taken a couple hours after i bought it..
getting a full fluid flush and greased front to back...
this is what the engine looked like when i first got her.. clean but stock...
A 70ft posi burnout i did in front of my buddies house...
this is my old car.. 1997 Pontiac Grand Am GT 2 door Supercharged 3.1L V6..
heres the link to it... i made an account on here for it a long time ago http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2282236/3
I also have a 1989 Pontiac Firebird Formula that i picked up off a buddy of mine for 500 bucks that had been in a accident with a 1/2 ton chevy pickup. it came with no hood, fenders or front bumper but still ran n drove. m now using it as a parts car for me and my dads 1992 Chevy Camaro RS. But i am willing to sell any parts that u may need.. Please contact me at JSimba711@NetZero.net if u would like pics of the car. It has a 350 TPI with 119,700 miles and a 5 speed manual transmission with it. If u have any suggestions on anything about my car to help me along in the process of making this a street machine feel free to add it in.. any advice is appreciated...
Now just some funny pics.. I laugh at these because they are true.. and yes i used to drive a supercharged Grand Am everyone but it was no tin can on wheels and when i did pull up next to a Camaro or Trans Am i didnt even waste my time nor thier time to race cause i knew i had no chance... But to all those who think Tin can exhausts on a completely stock car is cool... these r for u!!
I like some tuners just like everyone else in the world dont get me wrong or take in the wrong way becaus emy girlfriend drives a 2003 Eclipse. and I love that car... BUT when u see a completely stock Civic or Probe with a big spoiler and a fart can exhaust on it... its not even close to being cool.. in fact sometimes i think ppl like that do that just to make ppl with v8's feel better about themselves and to just give us a lil crackle of laughter in our everyday busy world... i mean come on get a real car and actaully make ur money spent worth while... well hope u enjoyed viewin my page and ill be updating regualry... thanks and come again
