Welcome to the 97 Sebring page. This car originally belonged to my brother who serves in the US Army and is currently in Iraq. It started out as a factory 97 Sebring for him and then he started it as a project car. He would work on it off and on but duty would always call him away. The car sat for about 2-3 years and then he figured he would let me have a stab at it.... OH YEAHHH!!!! Since receiving the car, all fluids have been replaced with Royal Purple everything, trans. fluid, oil, engine coolant, etc. After realizing that I could build a car by myself with the Cougar, I have set out to make this on TRULY unique. This WILL be THE sexiest Sebring PERIOD!!! The engine has had work done also but that will remain a secret!! Ah forget it. I am not a person for words. Here's the pictures of her total rebuild. Let me know, later.

I have a few words for people who say custom. It's your car therefore your vision. If you have people that help you with your vision so be it but if you let people change your vision it then becomes their vision. Your car, your vision, your passion.

New pictures uploaded 06-08-08. Decided to switch up the steering wheel with a custom sliced woodgrain style. Wait till you see the floor! Updates will be coming shortly. As always, it's your car therefore your vision, create it, later.

Well, I have moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas because of military reasons. This place is VERY laid back. The speed limit is 30MPH!? Good news is I have a new garage that is huge compared to the old one (pictured). This garage is a 3 car and is heated and cooled. It is NICE!! I am also in the works of (hopefully) acquiring a bodyshop as well as creating new products. There is ALOT going on right now but the Sebring is still on schedule. I have created a brand new turn signal setup that has to be seen to be believed. Well, let me go. Just wanted to let Cardomain know I wasn't dead. Anyway, I will upload new pictures soon, later ya'll.

01-24-08

Well Cardomain I am back. I officially got my internet hooked up yesterday. The reason it took so long is because I decided to move away from the CRAZY city life but I am close enough if need be. It's quiet and I can focus on what I do best, thinking outside of the box and helping fellow tuners do the same. I am updating this with a quick picture (camera phone sorry, need to find my camera). Well, she's coming along and if you have questions about ANYTHING, let me know, later.

02-01-09

Took a spy picture of her today.... just kidding. No real need to spy because it's sitting in my garage getting built! Any way, as of Friday (02-06-09) I will be building the Audi R8 concept setup as well as the trunk and 98 Supra tail light conversion. Wish me luck Cardomain and put me at the top of the list ya'll. As always, I am a DIY tuner that is not afraid to build and bust. If you have ANY questions, feel free to ask, later.

03-02-09

Finally found time to start on her again. I got a fender done, woot woot. Anyway, I will be doing the front bumper tomorrow and should be able to knock out a body panel a day. Anyway, I am throwing up some spy pics, let me know Cardomain, later.

PS: This car will appear REALLY low although I have not lowered it yet! And no, that is not a stripe. It's actually cut out there. I am custom fabbing something never before seen.

03-09-09

Hey tuners, Jamie here. Just got back from a LONG weekend. I could not wait to get back to get started again on Project Kayla. She has a few new goodies including turbo goods. I am switching the interior around to something that I feel suits the car better. I also am going to be purchasing TONS of new things for her starting this week. Hopefully you guys/gals will see ALOT of changes in the next few days/weeks. Well, as always this is a one man job (me) so wish me luck and if you have ANY questions or concerns, feel free, later.

03-20-09

Oh snap she's coming along. I am finishing up the front bumper (test fitting, etc.) and working my way around the car. The interior will be CRAZY! I have moved a HUGE tv to the inside because of the Supra tail light conversion. The trunk will become too small to do what I want so. The rear passengers will be able to play the front seat passenger on the 360! YAY!! Anywho, check out the updated pics and let me know Cardomain, later.

03-29-09

What up, what up, what up Cardomain. Jamie here. I found some old pictures of the Project Kayla and Project C together! I had just gotten the Sebring (I think about 2 weeks prior to these pictures). Anyway, check them out.... Man I miss my Cougar.

04-01-09

Jamie here. Just updated the interior a little more today. I was bored while I was waiting for fiberglass to dry so I changed out the "Key" halo ring. I t was originally yellow but now it glows a vibrant blue whenever you take the key out or put it in.... kind of neat I thought. Well, anyway, later Cardomain.

04-08-09

Hey Cardomain, Jamie here. I am just updating the page with a close up of the gauges. My brother visited awhile back and I saw the gauges in his Escalade and was inspired... so I built them! It was all in all a pretty cool experience. If you want to know how just let me know, later CDomain.

04-08-09

Hey CDomain, Jamie here. My super secret project is complete! The Sebring LXI came factory with woodgrain so I wanted to enhance the look of the classy interior. Well, the best way I thought was to create an actual hardwood/woodgrain floor for it! Well, I did and here it is. You can actually knock on it as you would wood! I cannot believe it actually worked! As a DIY I am too proud right now. It's far from professional but I did it CDomain. Anyway, check it out and let me know, later. Oh yeah, I got my new Turboworx rear turbo scavenge pump today. I will update later when I install it. Later CDomain.

04-15-09

What up, what up, what up CDomain. I am kind of excited! Today I finished the oiling side of the rear mount turbo setup! I kept reading bad things about the setup on some STS kits so I made the turbo oiling system independent of the cars! That's right, the turbo has its own oiling system. Feeding the system is a Turbowerx scavenge pump. Here's the order so that you can get a better understanding of it.....

3 1/2 Quart tank side mounted in trunk holds the oil (I can change it and refill it super easy)-----> Out line located at the base of the tank feeds a oil filter/custom cylinder anodized blue oil cooler-----> Oil goes into turbo oil inlet------> Oil comes out of outlet and flows through the pump-----> Pump takes oil through another cylinder anodized blue cooler and then to the top of oil tank..... and process resets. It was a pretty easy process actually. I will update with picks later today. Well, later CDomain.

04-16-09

CDomain, what up!? Me, laughing because I am such a boost noob. I have built a rear mount before but not using the technique I am trying with this thing! The Turbowerx pump has WAY to much PSI for this thing. I have to get a new oil restrictor for sure. I hit the switch on the pump and within 2 minutes oil was past the seals!! I calmly took the turbo apart, looked it over, and no visible damge to the seals (about an hour and a half). I will get a new restrictor for it but till then the turbo will have to wait. Well at least now I can do the Supra tail lights.... woot, woot!

04-18-09

What up CDomain, I'm back! I couldn't get my restrictor today (locally) so I had to order it. It will be here sometime next week. Well, since I was bored with nothing to do, I figured I would start on the trunk install! Here's a sneak peek of what it will look like. The center section will be carpeted to keep a stock look with mirror under my last name. I think it's funny because I cut that out with a jigsaw! Not bad I guess, not professinal but definitely not bad. Anyway, let me know, later CDomain.

04-24-09

Hey CDomain, Jamie here. I have another update for ya. It's the trunk again. I have finished molding the drivers side sideskirts and flares. I am moving to the rear now to finish the Supra tail lights but while I was back there I decided to get the trunk going again. This car is all about classy on the interior so I changed the trunk layout from the "Shaw" cutout marquee in the floor to just a DIY cut "S" emblem on the custom made trunk interior. The trunk is about 20% done right now but here's another sneak peek night shot with what I am talking about. You will be able to see the 360/Amps/ and the chrome strut bars through the plexi cutouts. Well, let me know, later.

05-07-09

Hey CDomain, Jamie here. I know you guys/gals may think no progress is being made but you would be mistaken. It's just that I am literally building this by myself. As in the engine, suspension, body kit (built by me), interior, etc. I have NO help in this so it is taking awhile I know and I am sorry but I have to get this perfect before it goes out. Here's a preview of what has been done. The interior is DONE!! You can now play whoever is sitting in the front seat from the rear seat and vice versa. Here's a picture to prove it! Anywho, the sides have been molded in, including the door jambs. Well, I have to get back to it, later.

05-17-09

Jamie here. Just letting you guys/gals know that I have started my Supra tail light conversion... woot, woot! I must say it's not as hard as I have heard it to be from Eclipse forums, etc. It's alot of body work sure but other than that not so much. I used actual sheet metal to do this also, not just fiberglass and body filler. Well, here's a teaser picture. I only started on it like 05-14-09 so I think it's going pretty fast. Anywho, let me know what you think so far. Oh yeah, nothing is wrong with the lights except they are dirty. Also, I have started molding in custom eye lids with the tail light conversion. It's no where near done so negative people, shut up!

05-25-09

What up CDomain! Jamie here. Just updating the JDM Supra tail light conversion. It's actually done but I am not going to prime it yet because there is the rear bumper to do.People who have done this conversion say they had to mold the rear bumper to keep an overall factory look. Truth is, they probably didn't do it themselves otherwise they would have simply created new body lines! If you can pull off this conversion, you can create new lines, trust me! also, the sections below the lights are cut out on purpose. Something will be there before it's final. Also, I wanted to add a more aggressive style so I created/molded in eyelids for the tail lights also. Anyway, as always, let me know and if you have ANY questions, let me know, later.

This is what happens when your new Turbowerx oil pump is WAY to powerful! It causes oil to blow past the seals causing you to freak out and check for damaged seals!
