This is how it looks as of right now. Basecoat/clear coat flat gunmetal. Put on the stock front bumper and took the wing off. Putting a RKSport front lip on and welded eyelids when the semester ends. Rims will likely be painted gloss black. When more work is done, I'll post more pics.

2-25-09  I got some black Cavi Z24 rims. They were painted flat black by the previous owner. I am going to paint them gloss black since the paint is in bad shape.FlatBlakFire's 2002 Pontiac SunfireFlatBlakFire's 2002 Pontiac Sunfire

I also have to do some repairs to the hood where the scoop was fiberglassed be its previous owner, I would like to weld as opposed to fiberglass. I also want to lose the wing and maybe add on a Celica spoiler, which I will modify to fit the trunkI'm getting it painted as soon as i can finish the body work. As you can tell, it needs it bad. I'm goin back with flat black, but with flat clear instead of a single stage.

The body kit was a pretty cheap kit. I got it for $350 shipped so I didn't really expect much. you definately get what you pay for. I can't really complain, though, since I did the work to it myself with a little help from my friend, I wasn't payin a shop to fix all the problems. I've enjoyed workin on it, and probably wouldn't have done some of the custom work if I wasn't forced into it. Its not exactly show worthy, but I've enjoyed the work I've put into it and making it unique.

A pic of the brackets I glassed on to bolt to the stock bumper

I made the back for the original piece from the lip of the body kit bumper, the guy I bought the new piece from no longer had his, so I made a mold of the other side with some old bondo I had (these pics are from after i trimmed down the excess)

Nice kit! I love the bumper, it looks evil. U gotta watch out for those trees, bro. They run out in the road every so often. Who says that isn't show worthy? Around here that would take a prize...our tuner shows around here are dominated by crazed kids in rusty civics and geos...
