MY FIRST CAR ~ (Jan/25/2001 - Dec/5/2003)

This was my 1985 Pontiac Parisenne. I bought "Annie" from a friend for $200.00 with 127,000 on the clock. It was my first car and a fun one at that.

This is the very first photo of my very first car.

There weren't any real customizations done to it. I liked the stock look because it was classy. I did put on a set of 1975 Pontiac Lemans dog dish hub caps and trim rings to make it look older. Between that and the factory fender skirts people always mistook this car for something from the 70's

The car was a blast to drive. It was a marshmellow on wheels. She was a real workhorse and was still running problem free with 155,000 miles on it. The engine was getting tired though and its whopping 150 hp wasn't cutting it towards the end. The exhaust was just a straight pipe with no cat to give it that hot rod cheech rocket sound. I used to shine her up and just cruise with 4,5,or 6 freind's and go riding along to what ever party or movie we were going to.

I used to call the hood ornament at the end " Grandma's Bullseye"

MY FIRST REAL ACCIDENT

This is the unfortunate damage that happened to my car. On December 5th 2003 I left work and was heading home. The place I worked at was along the back road of our local mall. The car ahead of me made a left at the intersection and I was going straight. A minivan coming from the other direction saw the car ahead of me turning and decided to start making his left into the mall. Not seeing that I was going straight he plowed into me at 15-20 mph. I tried to stop but blew a left rear brake like because I hit the brakes so hard. My car was stuck to his van but never stopped running. You cant see it in any of these pictures but the radiator support was ripped right out of the left front frame rail. After the police made there report I drove it the 500 yards back to work and parked it. This car was a true champ. It had 155,000 miles on it when it got wrecked and drove itself into the junk yard. Shes probably 3 or 4 Hondas by now.

Hey hey... I forget if I've ever said how awesome this car is but if not... Yes. Cool stuff. I insist the funniest moment on MTV in the last ten years or so was on Pimp my Ride when Snoop Dogg kept referring to his as a "Paris-ee-nee" I laughed for two weeks. Keep it up and bite the bullet, hopefully gasoline will straighten out soon...
