Cupra R built and raced by DrTurbo and DPS Performance.

Car owner is Fernando Montelongo (DPS Performance)

It all started with a few bolt-ons such as REVO program, air filter and a front-mount intercooler etc. With those changes, it made 266WHP untill something went wrong on the dyno...One blown exhaust valve:

So as a mild rebuild was on the card's:

We decided to get a little more serious. Sodium-filled exhaust valves, slight head-porting and this little fella; a GT2871R:

And methanol injection working in conjunction with the FMIC allows us to use 26psi on the daily-driven tune:

Combined with a nice downpipe built by JESE exhausts:

And an exhaust cut-out for racing duties. On the street the car is silent, and for racing we open up the valve with a push of a button; letting the beast out:

With the exhaust taken care of, I built the chargepipe tubing out of Mandrel bent 2.5" 304 Stainless:

Looking for precise cabin-adjustable boost control, we went with an automatic boost controller:

Now, with the motor back together, we decided to take it out for a casual drive to check that everything was in order

Here a quick test (not good quality) while bedding-in the clutch:
