Coyoteduster's 1973 AMC Javelin

Purchased this 1973 Javelin for $1,778.00 down in Tenn. Plans are to retore it and paint it A7 Limelight Polly.
It was a funny story of how the car got a green hood. When I went to pick the car up in Tenn. The guy I got it from told me that when the new Dodge Charger Daytonas came out he saw a picture of a lime green one on a billboard. So he went all around to the places that mix paint but he couldnt find a close enough match, so one of the workers there told him if he could get a sample of the color then they could match it. So on his way home he stoped at the billboard climbed up it with a razor blade and cut the door off the car and thats how he got the color. His intensions were to paint the whole car that color but as you can see it didnt happen.

So far the things I have got for it include
Front and rear spoilers
Trendsetter side exhaust
original AMX fiberglass cowl indutcion hood
Black interior
debating on a TCI rachet shifter

Side picture, amazingly the car was solid, no filler anywhere on the car (aside from the two front fenders around the headlights where it looked like someoke went crazy and bashed the fenders in with a baseball bat.) But there was quite a few dents and dings on the car. I hate to say it but theres alot of filler on the car as of now. The worst thing I have found about AMC's is that they do not make reproduction parts for them. So you have to make do with what you got. luckly the car is as solid as it is.
