1968 Chevlle SS396

This is my ride. I bought it in May of 2005, I paid $5500 for it and have invested about $5000 more in parts and paint. The car was white when I purchased it in May. My brother-in-law painted it for me in a single car garage and as you can see in the pics, he did a great job! I have replaced the bumpers, hood, quarter panels and rims. The engine was already done by the previous owner. He also put 5 grand in the car, besides his purchase price of $5600 in 1992, but he put it all in the motor. The previous owner spent the better part of a decade building this engine that puts out 425HP. Unfortunately for him he was down on his luck and needed money immediately and sold this SS to me for $5500, and the rest history!!
