DrTurbo (Chris Wilcox) built Ram 5.7L Hemi Turbo, using all custom-built components.

VISIT AGAIN SOON BECAUSE I'LL BE UPDATING ALL THE PHOTO'S WITH MUCH BETTER QUALITY PICS!!

Garrett GT4082 externally-gated turbo, remote mounted below vehicle to left-hand side of transmision. In this photo, the turbo is propped in position while looking for best location to begin building the necessary hardware. We ended up placing the turbine inlet upwards; 180 from this position

Front mounted intercooler, fills the opening in the grill perfectly and the downward-pointing tubes allowed a clean instalation for the custom 2.5" #304 tubing

Twin Bosch BOV's (OEM on the VW 1.8T motor) were used to purge the boost pressure. Placed on the stainless TIG-welded chargepipe tubing.

Twin 38mm TIAL wastegates were used; one on each exhaust manifold. We TIG-welded them at the halfway point (between cylinders #2 and #3) of each exhaust manifold to increase the volumetric efficiency of the manifolds and to reduce EGT's.

Here is the passenger side wastegate.

Original exhaust manifolds were modified to accept Schedule-40 3000psi remote-mount tubing, with flanges for quick mounting.
