My old car, also my first car was a mystic teal RS Camaro. It had the l03 305 TBI engine with a whopping 170 horsepower stock. I liked to tell myself it had around 200 though....because a few things were done to it.
My brother found it for me online somewhere listed for $1100. When we went to go see it we (My brother, Adam, really) talked them down to a mere 600 bucks. We agreed to come back a few days later with the money, when we showed up, they had literally ripped the front ground effects off and "thrown them away". So we ended up with the car for 500 bucks. Heres how it looked the first day:
Heres a shot after the front ground effects got put on, next to Adams old camaro....same year and model.
I didn't do much to this car, as I was pretty clueless when it came to anything back then. But I did paint the headlight buckets and the front grille....I liked the change a lot:
I gotta say I really do miss that car a lot, it was fun to drive regardless of being so slow above 35 mph and being an auto.
Heres some old videos I took when I had the car. A 0-60 run and a quick burnout.
