And finally the new carpet.

I've been asked how I modified the tracks to work on a classic Mustang. I thought I'd post the pics here so everyone that is thinking of doing this mod would be able to see. I rate this mod at "medium" on the difficulty scale only because there is a little welding involved. I found some Z brackets at work that had been used with unistrut on a job. I'm not sure if this is a uni-strut item. I measured the seat tracks and they just happened to be almost the same center to center dimension from side to side. The front to back was off quite a ways so I drilled the pins out from the rear base. I measured the holes from front to rear on my floor pan and welded the Z bracket on the track so they would line up with the rear holes. The pics are pretty self explanitory.

I purchased some Pontiac Fiero seats locally for my car. I liked these because they had speakers in the head rests and they are very comfortable. I decided to re upholster the seats myself. I contacted Mr. Mike's in Florida and ordered what turned out to be the nicest upholstery I have ever seen. He got a good buy on the same material BMW uses in their newer cars. The kits came with the covers, hog rings, hog ring pliers, and all the repair items. His step by step video made it a snap. Here are the results.

I ordered the seat upholstery with 4 point seat belt slots.

Here they are installed.

I finally got around to installing my Alcohol Injection System
