this is my 2000 mercedes S500 after a nice wash down. i've been a mercedes enthusiast all my life, i've gone through an 1990 300E, (i wish i had pictures of her, she had an amg body kit, and some gorgeous amg monoblock rims.) then decided to step up to the big boy benz, the s500. she's brilliant silver metallic with charcoal leather interior. i've only had her since september of 2007, but i've enjoyed every day i've had her. she may not look it, but she's a quick german babe, that 350 ft lbs of torque gives you whip lash like you wouldn't believe. the only mods i've done on her, is put a license plate off an 85/86 sel AMG hammer from the home of mercedes, stuttgart germany. i've also added a block heater which is VERY necessary in this part of canada. i've also upgraded the stock 4,300K headlights to a 30,000K purple, then switched it to a 15,000K, and then changed it to a 25,000K which i'm sticking to, and will post pictures of soon. check out the variety of HID bulbs i've had, it'll be a good example to look at if you have an s500 yourself, and want to upgrade the headlights. if your wondering why i've not done too much to her, you'll see that i've decided to keep her looking stock, and classy like any mercedes should be. flash is good, but i wouldn't want to risk adding something stupid like white tail lights on her (which i've seen on another s500) and make it look like a circus on wheels. i've decided to keep her stock, with a european look, so i will eventually make my last improvement of painting the sidemarkers on the front bumper brilliant silver to match the bumper, and possibly upgrade the headlights/taillights/mirror signals, to the 03+. i hope you've enjoyed looking at my bessie, cheers.

UPDATE
Just got these 19" Falken Koblenz a few days ago, wrapped in 235/35/19 kumho performance tires 9.5" front and back with a 35mm offset, not staggered. the kumho's look like rubber bands, i love em! they look small in these pictures, but actually look perfect in person, she sits on the new wheels and rubber beautifully.
found a HUGE puddle after the snow melted
washdown after i went mini-muddin' (12,000K)
30,000K purple/violet HID (i loved them at night, but they looked pink during the day)
old original 4,300K xenons
4,300K with fog lights, day old license plate
these were taken after i detailed bessie, a few weeks after i got her. i took off the front license plate bracket, since we don't have front license plates here in alberta to give bessie a smoother, and sleeker look. i also took off the rear plastic license plate cover as well, because it dulled the car.
