After being in Japan for two and a half years i just wanted a 180sx and being knew to the game I didn't know until a month before i was to leave that they were sold in the US. So Before even owning the car itself i had alreay been buying parts doing a little research and the day before i left Japan had purchased on the would be waiting for me in Alabama when i arrived and thats where the story began.

After about a week of pleading with the wife I started with small changes, and after I decided to go KA-T wifey got me a present, a new valve cover in my favorite color; A new spoiler; new 19inch motegi FF7's wraped with Nitto Neo Gen's; and an HKS Super Dragger Exhaust system staight from Autobacs in Okinawa.

After leaving Alabama we arrived in NC and here is were we reside. And were I went to my first official car show in the US.

Since then i have turbo charged the motor changed things here and there. Like Full JGS T3/T4 turbo kit, Apexi AFC neo & Turbo timer, FMIC,Walbr 255lb FP, Battery relocation, Bigger injectors...You know the Basics:D

But thats only the beginning. I had started to build a new motor for the car but as luck would have it the company I had my car at just fell apart and all of about $6,000 went bye bye. Also some one broke in my car and jacked my DVD player.
But this story aint over!
I bought all my parts again, out of pocket, and am again in the process of completing the build.

Now everyone keeps saying why SOHC, or why KA.....why not! It's my first build and it's a street car, but it'll surprise those whom doubt.

After the engine is complete and I have more cash of course I will be swapping out my frog head lights for 300ZX head lights, Abflug headlights, or making a complete custom set. Also the tail lights will be getting replaced with R33 Skyline GTR Sedan tail lights.

yea man i dont trust to many shops either. that and if something goes wrong i know how to fix it. i think youll be happy with the ka-t. dont let the wreck slow you down. maybe upgrade your brakes also though in the future didnt see that on your list. well good luck and when you get a chance check my 240 out.
