Project started officially in 2002 with original body kit, custom laid fiberglass, and red/orange primer. Body work turned out to be terrible, and since then I have stayed away from fiberglass. I unbolted the front, rear and sideskirts from the car and started from scratch. I converted the front bulkhead and rear support to a 90-93 integra and installed black widow 2 front and rear bumbers. I had to chop the hood and trunk a bit to custom fit the Nissan 300ZX headlamps and Acura NSX taillamps. I had a professional fabricator fit them of coarse. I turned out awesome, and I got a small bit of satisfaction with the project.

I originally had the door handles shaved along with the side door protector moldings. I found out that the body guy who did the side moldings filled solid with filler, instead of welding a plate and simply using a glaze to fill over, so I knocked off as much as I could, unfortunately he cut both fender supports, and both doors were now heat warped to hell.

Man this brings back bad memories...

But I didn't want to give up on the project. I purchased new doors, and fenders through Honda. And again started over. During that time I learned that Place Racing had made H22 mounts for my car, so I purchased a H22, had it sleeved, put rods, pistons, micro-polished crank, etc. Fully built head, the whole nine yards. And Place Racing went out of business!!! Sucky! I spent the next 5 months trying to get ahold of someone there or in the prelude community if there was a set floating around so I could finish my build. Nope, nothing! I then looked into having custom mounts made, and my motor guy explained to me that I might as well put in a K20 and be done with it. I fought the idea for a while, and finally gave in. I sold the entire setup, and moved on.

I got side-tracked, now early 2004, I purchased a Mitsubishi Evolution 8. I imediately fell in love with the car, and began buying bolt-ons due to my engine problems. I parked the car, covered it with a car cover for about 1 year and a half.

I wrecked the evo, RIP. 2005!

I took over payment to help my parents out on getting out from underneath my fathers 2003 PT. Cruiser GT Turbo. Which already had a full body-kit, and Stage 1 kit with dual exhaust. I admit it wasn't my style at first I was thinking of trading it in for another Prelude 2000-2001 SH. But after time I began to enjoy how smooth the ride was, and with it being turbo charged, it had some pep to it. I figured what the hell I will build the turbo setup. And that is another story!! See my Pt Cruiser Build!

After long wait, I got in touch with a great car body master, who showed me some excitement on wanting to finish the bodywork and paint on the Prelude. Which after 2 years, I know how hard it is to find a great body and paint guy who truly wants to work on my car and give it the respect I feel it deserves. And hense I now get to start my write-up on the project:

Jan. 12, 2008
A lot has happend in the last years or so for the 3rd Gen Preludes, H22 mounts, carbon fiber hoods, body-kits, suspension, etc. I am happy to see that our cars are getting the attention they deserve from manufactures.

I purchased my h22 mounts, I sent out my harness' to be converted. And the car has been getting much deserved attention in the past 2 months!

The wide body rear fenders are going to be finished here very soon, and I have decided to go with the Xenon Side Skirts.

The car is really coming together now.

I have my hands on a great deal for a Benson's sleeved H22 and complete bottom end kit (Pistons/Rings, Rods, and Micro-polished crank. I hope to send payment on Jan. 14. So I really need to get a good hand on all the extra misc. parts and lines to bolt the motor in.

Alot more to come!

So alot has been going on with both of my project cars. I have updated pictures of the lude. As you can see the engine compartment, the door jams, etc. have been painted NSX new formula red. The mock up motor is in the car. So now the turbo guy can make my custom manifold, my intercooler/pipes, my custom radiator, wiring, etc. can all be mocked up to fit around my powersteering, headlights, and anything else that comes in our way with the big turbo. I will be having the fully built Benson sleeved block, and built head assembled here in the next 2 or 3 weeks during such time all my shops can take measurements and begin building there items. The painter wants everything 100% done before he finishes painting the exterior. So I have to finalize a list of all the stuff to be completed. I will have this car done by December!!!! Well thanks for reading and enjoy the new pics.

Im sorry but I cant respect the fact that you are defacing three beautiful cars just to mash them into one, the prelude, 300zx, and nsx are master pieces by themselves and thats the way it should have been. No props for you, sorry.
