Bought my first Raider from a friend that was moving from the area for $500. I called it my "four wheeler" with heat and a stereo.

This is a great little truck in the woods and around the farm, so I decided to buy another to "build". Searching online I discovered these things were pretty rare, and I also found "The 4x4Wire". Couple months pass and i find this one in Asheville, NC for $800.

Hauled it home, and started tearing it down. I soon found two families of mice that had migrated most all of the carpet padding into the quarter panels, duct work, and inside the rear seat. Also found some Rat Urine Rust to go with. Time to CutNPaste.

Holes patched. High build Primer. Lots of sanding. More Primer. Lots more sanding.

Paint. Decided to stay with Mitsu color "Dakar San Metallic".

The fun part... Putting it all back together again.
"Bubba" made front bunper with running lights.

Rear bumper with back up lights, reciever hitch, and recessed 4 pin. "Bubba" made it too.

Remodeled interior with custom stereo installation kit and switch panel. Herculined floor and rocker panels.

Other Mods:
32x11.5 BFG AT's, Torsion Crank, dual BoUnCy seats, Roof Rack (Yep, "Bubba" made it), Cleawater Head
Still to come:
Weber carb, shocks, bow/gun rack, rod carrier, and a headlight
Special thanks to the folks at "The Wire" for technical advice and great ideas for the other stuff. And to my 7 year old daughter for the million miles she put on my "scooter stool" doing donuts around the Raider, her second opinions, and the ocassional second hand.
