To do a rear disc conversion on your 2nd gen Escort you will need: - Entire disc assembly(disc, caliper, mount) - GT e-brake cables - At least 14" rims (stock 13" will not fit over caliper)If you are buying used parts make sure all of the caliper rubber bushings are still there and that the bolts aren't stripped (stripping the heads on those is very easy so be careful). I also suggest getting a spare caliper or two as sometimes they're bad and you usually can't tell just by looking.Once you have the parts simply remove the old drum assembly and bolt the disc directly in its place. Then bleed the brake system and adjust your e-brake cable. If the e-brake still doesn't work try removing the bolt on the back of the caliper, near the brake line, and sticking a allen wrench in and adjusting there.
