The picture is not an actual picture of my car but it's very similar, my car is a teal color.

I just got 220 dollar tires, 185 Goodyears, they fit very well. I am replacing the driver side mirror as it has been duct taped on since I bought the car. I will be putting on new hub caps soon, getting the windows tinted, and a black paint job to complete the deal!

syrus1134's 1993 Dodge Shadow

It's July 15th, 08: I had the back window and two back side windows tinted with a Dark tint, one shade below limo, and the two front side windows tinted Medium, one shade below Dark.

I put on 20 dollar wal mart hub caps that make the car look a hell of a lot better, it looked horrible without anything covering the brakes.

I replaced the driver side mirror because the old one was damaged.

I fixed the trunk because it wouldn't even open before, so i had it rekeyed, but it still doesn't stay open without a stick haha.

I just picked up two sun visors with mirrors in them from Pick a Part because my old ones were trashed. They are in excellent condition.

Like many Shadow owners know, the headliners in these baby's were complete crap. When I got mine it didn't even have headlinging in it, just the ugly yellow board that the fabric is supposed to be on lol. I thought about doing it myself but for me it would probably be a whole day job and i got a hundred and fifty dollar quote from a local upholsterer.
It has grey interior, but I bought black floor mats, and it looks nice because they match all the controls in the front like the shifter, the air conditioner controls, etc. So to match the mats and the controls I want to get the headliner done in black.

We had to get the tranny rebuilt because one day it would start, but it couldn't even get into first gear, that was 1500 dollars out of pocket. After that I knew I was going to try to keep this girl for a while, she is my first car and I love her!

I put in a 1600 dollar stereo system because i'm 19 and i LOVE loud music lol. It has a 600 watt American Pro amp for the highs and mids, and an 800 watt Z Edition amp for the lows. Four Orion speakers were installed. Two 10-inch Kicker subs for the bass. And a really nice head unit.

The next big thing on my list is the body work and paint job. The Aqua paint is in pretty bad condition and doesn't seem to be getting any better. It has about 5 small dents around the entire car and the front fender is dented in a pretty good amount. I want it to be fixed to decent condition and be painted a nice blue color, possibly metallic.

And the car has an unbelievable 188,000 miles on it but it still drives damn good!

sounds like your sound system is bangin. New paint always looks good Black is a fine choose but it will show all the sirt scratches dents and any other imperfections. I am also gonna paint my car unless it dies first I have a pretty bad valve tap and some other things are going bad. Mine only has 106000 miles on it I'm looking to paint it an electric lime green with two black racing stripes. I know I'll stand out but who cares my car deserves to stand out. also don't go to dark with your tint after 4 months of having my car with tint I was pulled over twice and had to take off the driver and passenger side windows which sucked.
