As you can see this is not a 48 Ford Custom, this is a 1948 Diamond T That My grandpa is custom fitting a 1972 Ford 391 V8 And C-6 Auto Transmission into.
Here is the truck just after purchase with all the original parts, the hood, fenders, motor, and trans are not in the picture but we have them.

Here is the truck now.

The truck now has a ford 1:10 rear end under it. The frame also has about a foot and a half cut off of the back.

The Original rear end.

The front axle will be replaced with a dodge 1 ton straight axle. Thats My Grandpa off to the left working on the master cylinder.

I love the look of the cab on this truck.

You see the white marks on the frame, thats where the flatbed will end, it will be tapered in towards the cab. Right behind the cab will be a custom tool box or fuel tank! The frame will be cleaned up and sprayed flat black like the engine.

New Brake Lines!!!

Under Carriage.

Here is where the new v8 will sit.

And here is the new V8 and C6 Transmission!
The motor is a 72 Ford 391 V8. The engine is out of a snowcat used on a ski hill. So it has a deep sump oil pan that will stay on. All the wires will be ran so that the engine bay will look clean. New valve covers will be on and painted. The transmission is a Ford C6 3 speed Automatic. Also there will be a 3 speed auxiliary transmission. The cooling will be provided by all electric fans.
