Behold, the "Beige Beast!"

I bought this car from another student leaving the country, so it was dirt cheap.
It's pretty rusty, and has very high miles, 185,000, my goal is at least 200,000.
So far the only mod is a short ram intake, I'll eventually upgrade the muffler and other cheap stuff, like the blown speakers and crappy AM/FM radio.
UPDATE: Replaced the blown factory paper-cup speakers in the rear with Metrik 5.25 inch speakers. They were pretty cheap from Overstock.com. Also got Metrik 4 inch speakers for the front, will install soon and update pics. I ended up ripping apart the rear dash in order to get to the speakers...oh well!
UPDATE 10/7/08: Replaced timing belt, it blew while on the highway! Luckily a non-interference engine, so nothing was damaged. Tried patching the increasing rust w/ bondo...not working too well, haha. Front end was backed into by a golf cart on campus, broke the left headlight. Got a replacement off eBay for 15 bux, the campus insurance paid me $500! Used that money to get a new muffler and brakes. Odometer just rolled over 192k, only 8k more til I reach my goal. After that, I'll drive it 'til the wheels fall off, but won't plan on spending any more for maintenence. Will update w/ new pics soon.
Update 5/14/2009: Woo-hoo! Got to 200k miles!

The engine bay of a 200k mile car, 17 years old:
Not exactly pretty. I'll patch the rusty door bottoms soon. Guh! I need this car to get to 240k miles next. Why? The distance from Earth to the Moon!
To be continued...
